IDTA Musical Theatre Nomination

Following our recent exam session we were been informed that one of our Stage 2 Musical Theatre sets have been nominated for the IDTA Musical Theatre awards in June.

All of the nominated dance schools were then asked to submit a video of their routine to IDTA to be included in the next part of the selection process. Successful groups at this stage would then have been invited to perform at the IDTA Musical Theatre Award Finals in Blackpool later on in the year.

Unfortunately, as the standard for this competition was incredibly high, we were not selected to go through to the finals on this occasion.

For our students to be recognised and nominated for their hard work in their Musical Theatre lessons is an achievement in itself and all of us here at the Academy of Dance are incredibly proud of them all for getting this far.

A big congratulations to all the nominated students and especially to Miss Lucy for her hark work and dedication to our musical theatre classes.
